Yes. The primary mode of transportation within the town is the tricycle. Jeepneys are also available for traveling between San Luis and neighboring towns like Taal and Bauan.
By Bus: Take a bus bound for Lemery (DLTB or JAM Liner) from Buendia or PITX. From the Lemery terminal, take a jeepney or tricycle headed to San Luis. By Private Car: Drive via SLEX and Star Tollway, exiting at Lipa or Batangas City. Follow the signs toward Lemery/Taal, then continue to San Luis.

Originally called Balibago (named after the Balibago River), the town was once part of Taal. It gained independence in 1861 and was renamed San Luis in honor of its patron saint, St. Louis (San Luis Gonzaga).
San Luis is a coastal municipality in western Batangas. It is bordered by Taal to the north, Bauan to the east, and the Balayan Bay to the west. It is approximately 108 km from Manila.
